Who I am
Brother, Son, Athlete, outdoorsman; there are many titles that I carry, but Clinician is one I’ve earned the hard way.
I started my career on the frontlines—working with high-acuity and gang-affiliated youth who carried more weight than most adults ever will. Those early years shaped the way I see people and the systems around them. I learned quickly that behavior is communication, that survival often wears the mask of defiance, and that trust is built one calm moment at a time.
As a Clinical Director, I still drew on that same foundation. I’ve spent years helping youth and families navigate trauma, loss, and the long shadow of generational pain. My work focuses on helping people identify patterns that keep them stuck and finding ways to move toward stability, meaning, and growth.
I use a blend of relational and evidence-based approaches—relational framing, CBT, DBT, and narrative work—to help clients build new coping skills, understand their story, and reclaim authorship of it. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” someone; it’s about learning to make sense of what’s happened, and finding a way forward that feels true.
If you’ve been through enough to know you need change—but aren’t sure where to start—this is a space to slow down, look honestly at what’s in front of you, and begin to build something steadier.
Change isn’t built overnight—it’s earned in the small, steady moments we choose to show up for ourselves.
